Wimborne Folk Festival

Wimborne Folk Festival is the largest of the folk festivals in the south of England, and has been an annual event since 1980.
Every June Wimborne hosts the festival, a variety of acts perform celtic and tradtional English music and dance in and around the area of Wimborne Minste. Childrens entertainment is provided throughout the town during the festival along with workshops.

The festival is now so large it attracts usicians, morris dancers and folk acts from all over the UK. For those that would prefer to camp in the area a campsite is set up especially for the event. You can have the option of booking a season ticket to include camping or just a season ticket for the festival, these will give you unlimited access to all of the events during the festival.
Alternatively you can buy individual tickets though book them early to avoid disapointment. Accommodation in the area must be booked in advance unless you are willing to travel daily from other locations within Dorset.

On offer throughout the festival you will have the opportunity to buy from the many stalls including crafts, charity and local traders supplying local produce so you can help support the local businesses of the area.

Friday 12th - Sunday 14th June
