Weymouth Beach MotorCross
Weymouth beach motorcross is a national event that attracts more than 250 top riders from England. Bikes range from 125cc to 500cc and the age range is 15 years and over amongest them are several women riders.
The event is free of charge and over 15,000 spectators line the seafront, The course is one mile long and tests the ability of the riders who reach speeds of 780 miles an hour while negotiation Bomb Holes', Dare Devil Jumps, Sharp Chicanes and a high speed straight. Trade stands and the pits are on the esplanade.
Weymouth beach is a soft fine grade sand with an esplanade that wraps around the beautiful beach looking out over the jurrassic coastline of Dorset. Weymouths Georgian seafront guesthouses and hotels have magnificent views over the sea, and there are plenty of holiday cottages available to rent in the nearby villages.
