Wessex Folk Festival 5th - 7th June 2009 Weymouth in Dorset

Its based in Hope Square which is in the old harbour area, the nearest carparks can be found near Brewers Quay The Folk festival includes Folk Dancers and Morris Dancers throughout the town, plenty to eat and drink and usually stalls selling anything from tiedye clothing to beads and polished stones!  Its certainly not to be missed and some interesting costumes are worn by the dancers, which certainly will turn heads! From traditional whites with bells to weird and wonderful highly dramatic and colourful! Its a great fun day for all the family.
