Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival
The Tolpuddle Martyrs Museum is the key organiser of the annual Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival. The event which includes contemporary music, workshops, kids entertainment, poetry and political discussion and a rally and parade of banners.
175th Anniversary Commemoration The event runs from Friday 17 to 19 July 2009
Getting there.....
Follow signs from the A35 to the car parks. For campers and those unable to cope with a short walk, enter from the west of the village. For the main festival car park, enter from the east and turn right in the centre of the village.
Parking Charges
£10 per car on Sunday; free car for each camping tag or £15 weekend pass, £5 each day on Friday and Saturday.
Coaches
Free to park, drop off and park to the east of the village.

Train/bus
Take the train to Dorchester. Public buses from Trinity Street, Dorchester on Friday and Saturday - for times, call 01258 452545 - last one leaves at 17.45.
Tolpuddle shuttle
from Dorchester South Station on Friday 19.45 and Sunday 10.30 and 11.30 returning from Tolpuddle 17.30 and 18.30 £1 each way.
