Emergency Facilities: No but the Air Sea Rescue helicopter is based at Portland and the lifeboat station is in Weymouth harbour.

Safe for Kids: Steep drops in the water in places, probably better to go to nearby Bowleaze Cove which has shallow waters and no steep shelving
Facilities: Toilets across the road from the car park, small Cafe on the beach, watersports shop.
Parking: There is pay-and-display car parking. Disabled spaces available. Car park is sloped.
Public Transport: Weymouth to Preston/Sutton Pontz/Osmington bus services stop at Overcombe approximately 200 yrds from the beach
Walking: Coastal esplanade walking into Weymouth or in the opposite direction Bowleaze, Redcliff towards Osmington Mills and Ringstead.
