Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival

Sturminster Newtons Cheese Festival is held over two days annually. Not only does it bring together cheese producers from the South West of England but also raises monies for local charities.
At the festival you can sample and buy a wide range of cheese along with a range of other locally produced foods.
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall from the River Cottage has made appearances in the past along with other well known Dorset food producers.
Local and tradditional crafts are showcased, rides, punch and judy and other childrens entertainment will be available
Near the main Cheese & Food Marquee various displays, stalls, music and events for all the family are on offer. The Festival is held at Sturminster Newton's recreation ground just off the A357.
